Whilst I misunderstood what this app does, it makes no sense why this app doesn't actually listen to and validate the notes you play. It's simply a voice reading note names at a variable cadence. If it actually recognised the notes you play via the mic and showed you your score this would be incredibly useful

Nice app but gutted there is No Left Hand fretboard

Thank you very much for taking your time to think deep about guitarist and coming up with this grate application. It's the only application that deals with the fact of helping guitarist to learn the fretboard without distracting with a lot of useless options that bring along laziness to the already lazy guitar player. And to all the people complaining that they need a sound recognizer in this app for it to correct them when they play incorrect notes should just quit finding excuses and stop being lazy a just sit and learn real musicians just sit infront of sheets and books and they got teachers asking them to play a ton of exercises '(the teacher carries no tone recognizer when the students play, neither the students do) and this app is just as the teacher asking you to know your fretboard effortlessly so he just ask you randomly and then is your job to play correctly and playing correctly you'll learn it and remember it forever. Since most of you are adult stop wasting time and just start to really learn. Hope this app remains the same, with no extra nonsense options to it.

Good idea but, in my opinion, lazily executed. The app has no wake lock - screen switches off, app stops - for an app that's meant to sit and call out notes that's pretty annoying. Also there aren't enough useful options - I would like to set which exact note or group of notes I want called out so that I can focus on them. I think it would also be very useful for the app to hear the notes I play in response to the prompts so it can recognise correct from incorrect and my success rate and progress can be recorded / charted. This feels like an app you get from a good idea and a generic app creator program instead of an app custom coded from scratch - it's constrained by the app creator tool's limitations.

Great app. I have only used this for a day and I know that if I give this the attention it deserves progress will be rapid. Follow up in a month or so

Really effective way of learning. I like the way you can choose to look at one, two or all the strings and adjust the timer too. It's genius!

Simply straight to the point. I love it. I would love to see this same type of thing for chords also. I can use this for majors but I'd like a mix of minors, 7ths, inversions and etc. Thanks for such a great program though.

This is what I've been looking for! You're not finding a note on the screen. You're actually playing the notes on the guitar; the place you should be learning

CJ Looney

Awesome. Good way to learn. Thank you. Works great. Straightforward. Now I no I wanna buy other 2 apps y'all made.

It said in the description of the app that you can set it to one string at a time. Also there's no interaction. Maybe I just don't know how to set it up? I thought it would say a note and I'd have to touch the screen or ANY actual interactions.
